We needed a task to fill a whole week and so the idea of building our very own Barbie dream house was born! We had some old fence panels hanging around in the shed, white house paint, some old cardboard boxes and some coloured acrylic paint… all we needed to build the house and furniture!First a plan…Eva and I then worked out all of the house measurements to make sure the barbies would fit and Paul hit the power tools for us. It was then like a puzzle of pieces to drill together! After that was painting time…Eva then planned out what furniture we would need to fully furnish all of the rooms. I pulled out the scissors, cardboard box and hot glue gun to make her furniture dreams come to life and then we painted them all…And hello new Barbie dream house! All from bits and pieces we had at home.
