We set off in the miserable wet weather on Monday to Ballarat to visit the annual Begonia Festival. What a treat! It might have been grey outside but in the conservatory it was an explosion of colour. The Ballarat Botanical Gardens and surrounding Lake Wendouree area is so beautiful, even in the rain.
