When I opened the bundle of quilts made by the gorgeous Xanthe at Wife-made and sent from her sunny hometown of the Gold Coast I could not believe my eyes.

What absolute masterpieces! I have dabbled in quilt making and I know how much love and how many hours have gone into these stunning heirloom quilts.

What an absolute joy to shoot them over the past few days. Just to have them in my home has been such a privilege. I might even shed a tear when I put them back in the post.

Xanthe dreams up the most incredible combination of modern meets vintage quilt combos and sells the patterns (and if you’re lucky sometimes the quilts themselves).
