I’ve wanted to stay at Daylesford’s Sweet Retreat since it opened a year or so ago and my birthday seemed like the perfect excuse. A mid-week winter getaway to one of the prettiest towns in Victoria with a stay at this incredible house was just what the doctor ordered! The minute we stepped in the front door the kids lost their minds. A rainbow staircase lined with Carebears was their introduction to the house. Followed swiftly by squeals when they found a ballpit in their bedroom. A pink kitchen, themed bedrooms and an amazing rain shower had me in my own version of heaven.
