Recently we completed a little low budget DIY kitchen makeover because the laminate on our cupboards had been slowly peeling away over the last few years leaving just raw MDF. As much as I have always disliked the blue/green glass splash back, replacing it was out of the budget (and actually the glass is really practical to clean) so instead we decided to embrace the colour and use it as the basis for the rest of the kitchen. I couldn’t be happier with how it has turned out. The colours lift my sprits every time I see it.
